“Leaders demonstrate a clear vision of what should be, as well as a thoughtful strategy to achieve that vision”, said President Card, when opening his Presidents award speech, “Leaders demonstrate their effectiveness by results”, he went on to say.

The award which is handed out to some of Franklin Pierce’s best and most involved students on campus was the final award of the night at this years Honor Convocation. Taking home the prestigious award this year were Mass Comm Major Mike Black, Haley Baron, a Marketing Major, and Alex Marella, a Social Work and Counseling Major.

All three award winners are very involved in on campus activities, and even some off campus activities such as the campus Exchange, SGA, Executive Board, Pierce Arrow, Franklin Pierce TV,   and  even Child sexual abuse prevention educating at a local treatment facility.

“It really feels nice after four years to have all my work gratified and and recognized by the staff and faculty”, said award winner Mike Black, after receiving the award.

Overall,  it only makes sense that three of Franklin Pierce’s finest and most deserving students take home the night’s most important award.
